This 40mm aluminium T-bar door threshold trim offers a strong, adaptable, and visually clean way to connect different flooring types. Designed with an adjustable height system and pivoting action, it accommodates level differences of up to 24mm, making it suitable for transitions where one surface is slightly higher than the other. For installations where both floors sit evenly, the trim is compatible with flooring thicknesses ranging from 9mm to 20mm.
The profile uses a reliable clip system, giving flexibility during fitting and ensuring a secure hold across varying floor levels. Manufactured from aluminium, the trim combines strength with long-lasting durability, resisting wear from frequent use while providing a refined appearance that suits a wide range of interior settings. Its T-bar design not only conceals gaps but also delivers a smooth and stable connection between floor coverings, enhancing both function and finish.
Installation is straightforward: ensure the trim covers the gap between floor types, secure the aluminium base with adhesive or fasteners, and slide the supplied clips onto the trim. Position clips 2–3cm from each end and distribute the remainder evenly before pressing them into the base channel. A rubber mallet can be used to achieve the final snug fit, ensuring a stable and tidy result.
