This heavy duty slimline tile-in aluminium stair nosing is designed for tiled and hard-surface stairs where stronger grip and long-lasting edge protection are required. Shaped for a flush finish, it integrates neatly into the floor build-up to create a clean step edge without a raised lip.
Available for 10mm and 12.5mm heights, the profile works with ceramic tiles and can also be used alongside wood, laminate, and stone flooring. It is fitted with an external-grade tredsafe PVC insert featuring a 3D pyramid grip surface to improve traction in both dry and damp conditions. The insert is made from a hard-wearing blend of PVC, silica quartz, and polymeric plasticiser, creating a durable walking line suited to regular foot traffic.
Installed using tile adhesive, this straight-edge nosing is a practical option for interior stairs in commercial spaces and shared buildings where step-edge definition and underfoot grip are important.
